How often does AKIPS update the DNS database?

Answer:

AKIPS records the TTL field of the DNS request and should remove the

entry once it has expired. After that, you will need to wait for it to be

seen again in a new NetFlow packet before it is queued for lookup again.

It is therefore difficult to say exactly when it will be updated. The TTL that we record

is capped at 1 day.
