No NetFlow exporters have been configured to appear on this dashboard.

Problem:

In the NetFlow dashboard users other than the “admin” user receives the banner message: No NetFlow exporters have been configured to appear on this dashboard.

Solution:

This will happen if the Netflow exporters have not been grouped and assigned to a profile that the user is associated with. To configure this, follow the below steps after navigating to:

"ADMIN" --> "GROUPING" --> "MANUAL GROUPING"

  1. Click on Netflow Exporters
  2. Type in your new group name then click “Add”.
  3. Click on the new group name.
  4. Click “Edit” then select the Netflow exporter IPs needed then click save.


  5. Assign the Netflow group to the user’s profile:
    "ADMIN" --> "USERS / PROFILES" --> "PROFILE SETTINGS" page. Click on the profile that the user is assigned to and click the Edit Groups button.

  6. Select the new Netflow group on the left-hand side. It will be called "flow: (followed by the name that the group was called). Then click on the “Include” button, so it moves the group to the Include groups column on the right-hand side.
