Problem:
In the NetFlow dashboard users other than the “admin” user receives the banner message: No NetFlow exporters have been configured to appear on this dashboard.
Solution:
This will happen if the Netflow exporters have not been grouped and assigned to a profile that the user is associated with. To configure this, follow the below steps after navigating to:
"ADMIN" --> "GROUPING" --> "MANUAL GROUPING"
- Click on “Netflow Exporters”
- Type in your new group name then click “Add”.
- Click on the new group name.
- Click “Edit” then select the Netflow exporter IPs needed then click save.
- Assign the Netflow group to the user’s profile:
"ADMIN" --> "USERS / PROFILES" --> "PROFILE SETTINGS" page. Click on the profile that the user is assigned to and click the Edit Groups button.
- Select the new Netflow group on the left-hand side. It will be called "flow: (followed by the name that the group was called). Then click on the “Include” button, so it moves the group to the Include groups column on the right-hand side.
