How to clear rules from manual grouping

WARNING - YOU ARE MODIFYING CONFIG FILES. ENSURE YOU ARE BACKED UP.

The best way to remove "clear" rules from manual grouping at the moment is to remove them from the config file manually.
 

1. Ssh into your AKIPS server.

 
 2.  Open the manual grouping config file in vi.
 
    vi etc/grouping-manual.cfg
 
 3.  Delete the line that has the unwanted rule.
 
    use the cursor keys to arrow down to the line with the unwanted rule and press "dd" to delete the line.
 
 4.  Save file.
 
    press 'esc' and then ":wq" to save the file.
 
 5.  Log out of ssh session.
 
 6.  Run auto-grouping from the AKIPS GUI.
   
    Admin->Grouping->Auto Grouping
