AKIPS customers can open a ticket by sending an email to support@akips.com. This will automatically generate a ticket in AKIPS ticketing system, which will be assigned to a technical support analyst. Communication between AKIPS and customers will be by email, and in the emails subject will be the ticket number and subject of the ticket. This is how we keep the updates organized.
One maybe requested to send in some logs. Below are two example of what we might ask for and how to get them to us:
Providing Logs
You may need to provided your System Logs so that we can investigate.
- Navigate to Admin > System > System Log Viewer
- Click download System Logs
Upload the log file to https://www.akips.com/upload, mention the ticket number in and note when you first noticed that the disk space was increasing in the details section at the bottom of the uploads page.
Providing SNMP Walks
How to SNMP walk and upload the results:
- Navigate to 'Tools' -> 'Ping / SNMP Walk'.
- Select the device from the device list or enter an IP address under 'IPv4 Address', set the 'MIB Selector' to 'All Objects' and click 'SNMP Walk'.
- Click the 'Download Walk' button.
- Upload the file to https://www.akips.com/upload and mention the ticket number in the details section at the bottom of the uploads page.
