AKIPS not automatically Discovering Switches

For the past 5 months or so we have had to manually add devices onto AKiPS. Specifically Cisco 9400 series. Sometimes it will pick up a Cisco 4507 sometime it won't. But it won't discover 9k series at all unless added manually.

    Hi Xavier, 

    That seem strange, I am discovering Cisco 9400s fine. I assume you have the correct SNMP parameters all setup and have tested them with the ping/snmp walk tool. 

    Next time your discovery script runs, check the 'excluded devices' log. Admin > Discover > Discover Log Viewer then select Excluded Devices. Check if they are showing up in there.
